This weekend, we have the opening round of the Swiss Lites 250 Championship at Aeschlenberg. After few years off the bike, I am looking forward to compete in a national championship to see what I can do. Practice and warmup go pretty smooth, I like the track and I manage to grab the 4th best lap time of my group, which put me 8th on the gate.
It kept on raining all day long, and the track become really muddy, slippery and thus tricky. First moto, I have bad start, and my race turn into a nightmare. I can’t find my groove, I keep on falling down, and I am pretty much trying to survive during those 20 minutes. I finish 29th, 19th of the Lites riders, I go home with only 2 points under my belt, due to weather condition, the FMS called it for the day, and canceled the second moto.
